St'at'imc Cultural Centre Feasibility
Upper St'at'imc Nation
Cadence worked closely with the six Upper St'at'imc communities to develop a business plan for a proposed Cultural Centre in Lillooet, BC. ​Facilitated discussions led to an innovative partnership opportunity with the District of Lillooet to consider shared use and governance of a central community site in the heart of Lillooet on Main Street. Economies of scale/management efficiencies reduced operating cost burden and created a proposed central venue for all community members to meet, learn and continue a journey of truth and reconciliation.

Tsilhqot'in Nation Tourism Development Strategy
Tsilhqot'in Nation
Cadence worked with the Tsilhqot'in National Government and its five member communities to envision a tourism development plan that contributes to a sustainable tourism economy for the Nation while offering visitors a series of complimentary experiences. A feasibility study for a centrally located Tsilhqot'in Cultural/ Gathering Centre was also prepared with recommendations for next steps.

Nuxalk Comprehensive Tourism Development Strategy
Nuxalk Nation
Cadence worked with Nuxalk leadership and their Economic Development agency to create a strategy for tourism investment in the short, medium and long-term. This strategy included immediate acquisition opportunities, a review of coastal lodge investment opportunities and consideration of community capacity/interest in offering tours; retail outlet for artists.

Xeni Gwet'in Tourism Development Strategy
Xeni Gwet'in First Nation Government
Cadence has worked with the Xeni Gwet'in through all stages of tourism opportunity identification; consideration of private sector acquisitions; property renovation; visitor experience development and launch to market. Cadence continues to represent Nemiah Valley Lodge as it now develops travel trade relationships.

Ktunaxa Nation Branding Initiative
Ktunaxa Nation Council
Cadence facilitated the launch of the Ktunaxa Nation branding strategy to the tourism industry and continues to support KNC as they seek to increase their presence and visibility within their homeland through projects such as the Columbia River Treaty Uncovery Tour.

Witset First Nation Community Tourism Development Plan
Witset First Nation
Cadence worked with leadership, Elders and community members to define new tourism opportunities to be leveraged through campground development and provided a detailed step by step implementation plan to build market awareness and visitation.
